FestOS is no longer being maintained or developed. It's available under the GPL license. So, you're welcome to download it, use it, modify it, and even redistribute it (as long as you also release that version under the GPL).

Version 2.3c Released

Today I released version 2.3c. This new version rolls up the two XSS patches, which together should block the published cross-site scripting and login hack attacks.

I also released the second XSS patch. If you're running the patched version of 2.3b, apply this new second patch immediately. If you're running an unpatched version of 2.3b, please apply both patches in order.
